Domestic Violence Focus Group

Viva, the LGBT Youth Service based in Rhyl are working with a small task and finish group brought together by Lisa Surridge of the Public Protection Unit of North Wales Police, to look at how to improve the response of domestic abuse (DA) services to LGBT people in the region; improve rates of reporting and remove barriers to LGBT victims of DA.

Viva would like to hold a focus group of local people to feed their thoughts and experiences into this group. In particular the group are keen to hear from LGBT people who have direct experience of domestic abuse - either personally or professionally. Meeting venue/s, dates etc. are yet to be announced.

If you would like to know more, please could you contact Hollie or Gareth via the Viva Facebook page, email: hannah@rhylyouth.co.uk or telephone: 01745 357 943.
